January, February & March 2015

2015 has been a super busy year! In January, I got promoted to Director of Human Resources. This has been great; however, it meant I now had to start driving to El Segundo (corporate office) every day. While I love my job, the 405 isn't very fun. We are looking into moving the administration office in 2016, so I am really looking forward to a better commute!

In February, we did a lot of home improvement projects. Jason has really done a lot to the yard (with Rowen's help, of course).

Also in February, Rowen got a big boy bed!

Then it was Valentine's Day. I got flowers!!

Disneyland Day! 

In March, Rowen got glasses! Look at this cool guy!

Rowen is getting so big. He's now able to go on the "big" rides at Disneyland (although he's still too scared of the "drops"). 

2014

So...here we are half way through 2015 and I realized I haven't blogged since last year! Where has the time gone? Well, I'll tell you!

In May 2014, as it does every May, Mother's Day was here. Christy and Matt threw a very nice party at their house for all the moms. Great food, drinks, and great atmosphere. It was super nice!

In June 2014, Rowen started a new school near our house in Huntington Beach. Still a Montessori school, but he took some time to adjust and make new friends.

Also in June, Rowen had his 3rd Birthday. We had a party at home with family and a few friends. Pirates was the theme.

Aaaaarrrgh!

In July 2014, at this 3 year check up, Rowen begrudgingly gave all of his "Pakis" (pacifiers) to the doctor. He gave them to the doctor so she could give them to all of the little babies who needed them more than he did (now that he was a big boy). He was sad and asked about his Pakis for about a week after.

In August, Rowen got Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease. That was kinda rough. He had red sores all over his legs, hands, feet & inside his mouth. He had them on the bottom of his feet, so it hurt for him to walk. Poor little guy!

In September, we celebrated Grandma Linda's & Grandma April's Birthdays...

We also played in the pool and backyard a lot...

We went on vacation to Bass Lake/Yosemite...

In October, we went to Catalina for my birthday...

In November, Christy & Matt got married!

At the end of November, we bought a house!

Then it was time for Christmas! This year we split it into a few days, since our families are not that close. We spent Christmas Eve at Matt & Christys, Christmas morning at home, and then Christmas day at my moms. We spent the day after Christmas at the Bettendorfs.
