- feed himself with a spoon or fork (stabbing & scooping as needed)
- lock & unlock the dishwasher & turn the knob to ON
- jump (with one foot sometimes leaving the ground)
- drink from a straw (YAY!!)
- dance to music
- understand instructions (usually following them)
- no longer puts things in his mouth, but rather picks up items from the floor & gives them to mommy or daddy & says "trash"
- identify body parts (he knows mouth, nose, teeth, ears, eyes, hair, cheeks, legs, feet, hands, arms, and belly/belly button)
- enjoys helping mommy with cleaning, laundry, and cooking (when we make his eggs, he gets to stir the egg with the milk)
- he knows when he's doing something he's not supposed to be doing
- tries to smile/act cute when he's in trouble
- associate words with actions (i.e., he says "hot" then says "burn you")
- brush his teeth (with mommy doing a final brush when he's done)
- understands prepositions & uses them correctly (i.e., when he puts Big Bird under the blanket, he says "under")
- stack blocks - and LOVES to "KNOCK IT" down with one little finger
- express his likes and dislikes - sometimes saying "LOVE IT"
- has started noticing & pointing out boys versus girls
- walk more steadily
- run instead of walk
- open closed doors by turning the knob
