See Any Resemblance?

Jason's baby picture is above and Baby B is to the right. Does anyone else see any resemblance (i.e., the lips, cheeks and possibly the round eyes)?? Although according to the ultrasound lady, Baby B has quite a bit more hair than Jason did above.

As of today, the doctor confirmed he weighs 6 lbs. 12 oz. "conservatively."  Looks like he's going to be quite the hefty - I mean healthy - boy!

Final Countdown

It's getting down to the wire in regard to Baby B's birth. The due date is technically July 9, 2011. However, we expect that he will be here sooner than that. Lisa's blood pressure is somewhat elevated and she is being monitored closely. Baby is well and very active. We will continue to post on the blog with updates.

Baby B's Room and Updated Belly Pic

Here's the most recent pic of Baby B's Room. Once we figure out a name for him, we will order his name in cute wooden blocks & put them above his crib. Other than that, we are ALMOST ready for his arrival.

I'm not exactly sure how much more my belly can expand!!! I feel like I'm at maximum capacity. . . only God (and Baby B) knows how much longer!

How Big is Baby B Now?

On June 1, 2011, Jason & I went to the doctor for Baby B to get a "growth scan."  As you can see, he is now 5 lbs. 7 oz. and in the 79th percentile for his size. Since 50% is average - he is definitely on the BIGGER side.  They also said we probably won't make it to the due date of July 9th.  Looks like Baby B might be coming sooner than we thought! : )

The picture to the right is of his nose and mouth. He has some good size cheeks and lips! The top of his head is nuzzled up in my pelvic area, so you can't see that part.

The picture on the left was taken on June 2, 2011 during an ultrasound. They were looking at my kidneys and gallbladder to make sure there were no stones or obstructions. We are happy to say that everything was clear and looked good. The ultrasound tech gave me this silhouette view because she thought it was cute.

Hopefully only a few more weeks and he'll be here!
