St. Patty's Day (Better Late Than Never?)

I know I'm a few weeks late, but I wanted to share the fun time we had on St. Patty's Day this year.  Matt and Christy had a party at their house. Nothing is better than good food, good friends, and lots of drinks (although I was the DD)! Rowen was so excited, he couldn't take a nap. Here are a few pics from the party and Rowen's first St. Patty's Day.

For the past 9 months, Jason has been learning about photography. When I was pregnant, he bought a nice Nikon camera and starting reading books on how to take pictures of your baby. For Christmas he got a few books and some studio lights so he could learn how to take portraits inside. This weekend he finally got a chance to play with them - and these are the pics. Pretty good for Jason's first shot at indoor lighting!

Spa Day!

I haven't had much time to blog lately - but I did want to tell everyone about Spa Day on March 10th. Back in September, Jason purchased a package deal for April & I to have a Spa Day at Disney's California Adventure. He got one for April's Birthday and one for me - because he knows we had a difficult (and exciting) year.

We each got a one-hour Balinese full body massage, Balinese body polish, and Frangipani Nourishing Hair and Scalp Treatment. They all felt INCREDIBLE!!! It was so nice to relax and enjoy the sounds of calm music and scents of lavender while being pampered. April and I were there for at least a few hours and then we got hungry so we headed home and had lunch with the boys. It was a very fun and much needed day - thanks to my hubby!

Weekend

Another weekend in the books! Lisa and April had a spa day at California Adventure on Saturday. Jason and Bobby watched Rowen. The rest of the weekend was spent running errands, doing laundry, preparing tax returns, and other "fun" projects. Never enough time to get everything done.

Rowen's 5th tooth just came through the surface.He is eating everything. Pears are his favorite. He also seems to really like Spinach. It was a busy weekend, but we did manage to play for a few minutes -  and of course snap a few photos.

Already March. Where does the time go? Rowen is now 8 months old and is doing well. He's growing fast. 21 lbs. He's a very happy baby, but not a great sleeper. Lisa is enjoying being a stay at home mom. He now has FOUR teeth (with more on their way)! Below are a few recent photos.
